Precious Counselor

Proverbs 9:7-8 NLT
Anyone who rebukes a mocker will get an insult in return.

Anyone who corrects the wicked will get hurt.

So don’t bother correcting mockers; they will only hate you.

But correct the wise, and they will love you.

We need to learn to stop wasting our breath on people we know aren’t going to take heed to our counsel.

We all want to be of service and of use especially when it comes to giving a helping or inspiring word.

But truth is not everyone is able to grasp/retain or wanting to get passed the ways that are already settled into them.

Be wise as to who you lend your counsel to,

because while you spend precious time on someone who isn’t going to comply,

there is someone that needs your words whom is ready for change.
